Pastor Anita Hartley was born in Queens NY, when a nickel could buy 5 pieces of candy. Anita was born Gullah-Geechee to Jamaican. Her father, who was Jamaican, thought she needed a British education. So as a little girl he sent her to spend time in Kingston Jamaica.

After a few years Anita returned to the states. She moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in May 1986. In 2008 while attending Saint Peters Church and World Outreach Center, Anita was inspired by Holy Spirit to attend Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow Oklahoma. She had no idea who Bro. Kenneth E. Hagin and the meaning of “Word of Faith” meant, but she had peace within. After arriving in 2008, she knew that her steps were ordered by God. She found written in an old Scofield Study Bible, the name of a book by Brother Hagin that she was suppose to read back in 1984, when she was called to the ministry under the A.M.E Church.

Anita attended and graduated from the School of Pastoral Ministries Rhema Bible Training College in May 2011 (2008-2011). While attending Rhema for 3 years the Holy Spirit inspired her to travel to New Mexico each summer. Because of God’s favour and favour with man, she was divinely connected with some of the most wonderful men and women of God. Anita now lives on the Navajo Reservation in Shiprock New Mexico.

Pastor Anita fondly known as Pastor Chocolate ministers in churches, conferences. She conducts a bible school and leadership classes, as well as bible studies in churches. She presently also is interim youth pastor at a local church.

She is a licensed Missionary/Reverend under Rhema Ministerial Association International and serves as a Minister of Helps on the Navajo Reservation. As a nurse to the Navajo Uranium Miners, Anita gets to spend quality time with many different families daily.
